So why do you tasting sheets you ask?

The taste experience can be intense and overwhelming because it engages nearly all of our senses (sight, sound, touch and taste). Our perception of flavors are also fleeting.

Combined, this can make 'tasting' an intimidating experience.

A tasting sheet helps mellow out the tasting experience by providing structure and context.

Think of it as training wheels to help you feel your way around the world of tasting.

We designed this journal to be approachable no matter where you are on your tea journey. The journal opens with a quick & easy tutorial that breaks down the tea tasting process and help you familiarize yourself with the tasting framework presented in this journal.

Functional

We believe that there isn't only one right way to taste teas.

Hence we've intentionally designed the tasting sheets so that they can be used to record tasting notes for both multiple steeps of the same tea AND single-tastings.

We also believe that all teas, even bubble tea and bottled teas, can lead to a delightful tasting experience if you approach it with curiosity.

Which is why the tasting framework presented in this journal is applicable to all kinds of teas, prepared in all sorts of ways.

Buying a new tea journal every time you finish the existing one is neither convenient nor sustainable, and so we've designed our tea journal to be refillable. The binder can be opened up and is compatible with any 20-hole loose leaf paper.

We may have created the skeleton, but how this journal evolves is now in your hands.

Because this journal uses a refillable binder, you can customize it by adding other loose-leaf sheets or even folders and accoutrements. And who says you can only use it for tea?
